Allwyn Partners with Instant Win Gaming

Allwyn, a leading multi-national lottery operator headquartered in Switzerland, announced that it has entered into a partnership with Instant Win Gaming Limited (IWG) to enhance the group’s content offering.

IWG is a leading supplier of online instant win games to lotteries. IWG works with more than 25 national and state lotteries around the globe and has a strong North American presence. IWG is at the forefront of innovation in the sector and has developed a strong portfolio of games across numerous categories.

Stepan Dlouhy, Chief Investment Officer at Allwyn, said: “Allwyn’s agreement with IWG will enable us to create and leverage high-quality content throughout the group. Rhydian Fisher, CEO of IWG, said: “We are thrilled to be partnering with Allwyn to take IWG’s success and proposition to the next level. Allwyn’s deep expertise and knowledge of the lottery consumer will help us to deliver immediate and significant value for our existing partners, while this step will also create new opportunities for the brilliant games our team develops.”

Allwyn has agreed to invest in IWG and, upon closing, will hold a 70% stake in the business. Allwyn will finance the investment using existing financial resources. The investment in IWG is anticipated to close in the second half of 2024, subject to the satisfaction of customary closing conditions.

No changes will be made to IWG’s team following the investment by Allwyn. Co-founders Rhydian Fisher and Simon Bucknall will retain their roles as CEO and COO, respectively.

NOVOMATIC Americas Puerto Rico LLC (NOVOMATIC Americas), a subsidiary of the international gaming technology group NOVOMATIC, and CAGE Puerto Rico II Inc (CAGE) have entered into a long-term, exclusive strategic partnership for the street gaming market in Puerto Rico, building on their successful multi-year collaboration across various Caribbean markets.

Under the terms of a newly concluded Master Sales Agreement, NOVOMATIC Americas will distribute thousands of FUNMASTER 2.27 cabinets to CAGE Puerto Rico. The agreement reflects both parties’ shared commitment to market development, operational excellence, and long-term value creation in Puerto Rico’s regulated gaming sector and is still subject to CAGE receiving the renewal of its gaming license in Puerto Rico.

Each gaming terminal will include access to a curated portfolio of NOVOMATIC gaming content, which is tailored to meet the preferences of the local player base. This ensures that CAGE and its operating partners benefit from a dynamic and adaptable content offering that is designed to maximize entertainment value and operational results.

Brøndby IF has entered into a three-year partnership with Betano, the premium online sports betting and gaming brand of Kaizen Gaming, one of the biggest GameTech companies in the world. Betano will become the main partner and shirt sponsor for Brøndby IF’s Superliga team starting from the summer of 2025.
