Independent slots studio Thunderkick has promoted Johanna Backlund to Head of Marketing.

The announcement comes as Backlund approaches two years with the business, during which time she has overseen the successful development and implementation of Thunderkick’s company-wide marketing strategy.

Backlund, who has over 20 years of industry experience, will now focus on enhancing the company’s brand visibility in target markets across the globe.

As Thunderkick continues to amplify its presence in the Latin American and Canadian iGaming markets, as well as consolidating its position as a leading supplier in its home continent of Europe, she will play a pivotal role in elevating brand awareness to drive new business with global operators.
