Midnite announces Middlesbrough FC partnership with fan-first initiative

  • Midnite will be the principal partner and front-of-shirt sponsor of Middlesbrough FC for their landmark 150th season

  • To celebrate this announcement, Midnite held a fan-first initiative called “This Season’s On Us,” last Thursday, July 9th at Riverside Stadium

  • The initiative saw lucky fans rewarded with a range of sought-after prizes, including 2026/27 season tickets, if they successfully answered Middlesbrough trivia and completed a football challenge, with Middlesbrough legends Craig Hignett and David Wheater on-site to help out where needed

 

Midnite will be Middlesbrough’s principal partner for the 2026/27 campaign.

The partnership will see the UK bookmaker be Middlesbrough’s front-of-shirt sponsor during the club’s historic 150th season.

Midnite, one of the UK’s fastest growing sports betting and online gaming brands, launched the partnership with a fan-led initiative called “This Season’s On Us”.

The initiative gave Middlesbrough fans the opportunity to win a range of prizes, including season tickets, shirts for the 2026/27 campaign, match tickets or a £25 club shop voucher, in return for showcasing their club knowledge and football skills, courtesy of Midnite.

If a participant missed out, Middlesbrough legends Craig Hignett and David Wheater were on hand to give them one final opportunity, taking a bonus attempt on the fan’s behalf.

The initiative follows a renewed push by Midnite to give back to sports fans following several successful fan-led initiatives in collaboration with Sheffield United and the World Snooker Tour.

“It was great to see so many Middlesbrough fans at the “This Season’s On Us” activation, we hope they enjoyed taking part and meeting club legends, with David Wheater hitting top bins on several occasions and allowing fans to win big with season tickets.

“We can’t wait to get to Riverside Stadium in August to kick-off a new season and we’re excited to say that we have plenty of new and captivating campaigns planned.”
