BOYLE Sports expands Serbia technology hub as part of continued growth
BOYLE Sports is expanding its Serbia-based technology hub as part of its wider growth strategy, strengthening the talent and capability needed to support the business’ next phase of development as an omni-channel betting operator.
The company has hired just over 65 people in Serbia during the last year, with ambitions to grow its headcount by an additional 30% over the next few months. The team has been built carefully, with every hire bringing with them the specific skills required, including technical quality and industry understanding, while also being strong cultural fits.
Belgrade, the capital city of Serbia, has become an increasingly important technology hub for the gaming sector, with a deep pool of experienced developers and a mature local market. For BOYLE Sports, the location offers the right mix of technical talent, industry knowledge and infrastructure to support its continued investment in its scalable, high-quality technology capabilities.
Commenting on the investment, Jim Parkins, Chief Technology Officer at BOYLE Sports, said: “Serbia gives us access to exceptional technology talent, with the development experience and gaming-sector knowledge we need to support our continued growth. We have been deliberate in how we have built the team, and are delighted with the calibre of people on board.
“AI is changing how technology teams work and we are embracing that while simultaneously continuing to invest in people, because the strongest businesses will be those that combine smart technology with talented teams who know how to apply it.”
The expansion of its technology team in Serbia follows BOYLE Sports’ recent announcement of its partnership with AWS, bolstering its technology stack and allowing the business to continue on its growth ambitions across all markets it operates in.
