Blask launches World Cup Index tracking iGaming search interest by nation
Blask has launched the Blask World Cup Index, a free interactive map designed to track daily shifts in interest across most of the 48 nations competing in the 2026 tournament. The index is available here and, according to the company, will run for the duration of the competition.
Blask said the map updates every 24 hours, turning countries green when interest increases versus the previous day and red when it declines, with unchanged markets shown in grey. Users can hover over countries for snapshots, click through for multi-day views, and follow a leaderboard of the fastest-rising and falling markets.
According to Blask, the World Cup Index draws from the Blask Index, the company’s measure of iGaming search volume within a market. On the landing page, it tracks football-related categories tied to the 2026 tournament, including searches for odds and match markets.
Blask also published two research reports based on iGaming activity during the 2018 and 2022 World Cups, covering six European markets (UK, Germany, France, Spain, the Netherlands, Italy) and six LATAM markets. The company said the reports include country-level APS data, cross-market patterns and 2026 projections, and are available at blask.com
