  • The UK, France, Italy, Germany, Spain and Turkey will be represented in this edition, which will have two phases.
  • Meg is the ambassador for the UK and will be broadcasting the UK team’s matches on her Twitch channel.
  • The competition, which is organised by GGTech Entertainment, is part of Riot Games’ official VCT OFF//SEASON event framework and is supported by Twitch.

Spike Nations, VALORANT’s VCT OFF//SEASON competition, is back with a new edition to bring together the best talents from the EMEA region. Professional players from VCT/VCL and Game Changers will represent the United Kingdom, France, Italy, Germany, Spain and Turkey to lead their respective countries to victory.

As with last year’s edition, Spike Nations will be split into two phases, one national and one international. Each participating team is headed by a famous content creator from their home country, who acts as an ambassador and broadcasts their team’s matches on their Twitch channel.

The aim of Spike Nations is to demonstrate mastery among six of the strongest VALORANT countries in the EMEA region. The competition is based on the central idea that esports has the power to unite people from different backgrounds and cultures through competitive spirit and camaraderie.

Spike Nations 2024, which will be played entirely online and is part of Riot Games’ official VCT OFF//SEASON event framework, is organised by GGTech Entertainment and supported by Twitch.

Who makes up the UK team

Meg is the UK ambassador for Spike Nations 2024. The British team, which has PAL as its coach, is made up of 6 players: ZachKappa, GlobeX, Sevire, Bobbie, Fluxxy, and Jademwah.

The UK clashes can be followed live on Meg’s official Twitch channel (twitch.tv/megsoundslikeegg).
Competitive format

The national phase will decide who will represent the countries at Spike Nations 2024. Following the publication of the lists of the 12 shortlisted players, which were revealed on 21 October, the teams are in the midst of a testing window to determine the final squad (with the exception of the UK, Spain and Italy, which have already confirmed their lists). On 31 October, all teams must submit their final rosters, which will consist of six players.

From 18 November, the international phase will take place. The six countries will play against each other in a Single Round Robin format until 27 November. A few days later, the top four teams will face each other in the Semi-Finals on Bo3 (1 December), with the ambition to qualify for the Grand Final, which will be held on Bo5 on 2 December.
