Genius Sports Partners with Vietnam Pro Basketball League

The Vietnam Pro Basketball League (VBA) has struck a long-term, exclusive partnership with Genius Sports. Across official data tools, live streaming distribution and robust integrity services, Genius Sports will help to drive the next stage of the VBA’s global growth while safeguarding its competitions from the threat of match-fixing.

The VBA 2023 season tipped off on Saturday 10 June with seven teams competing in one of the largest leagues in Asian basketball. As the trusted partner to over 200 basketball leagues and federations globally, Genius Sports will provide FIBA LiveStats to capture official play-by-play statistics on every game, powering the VBA’s live broadcasts, scoreboards, websites and other fan-facing platforms.

The VBA has granted Genius Sports the exclusive rights to capture and distribute its official live data and video streams with its global network of partners. Genius Sports will help to safeguard Vietnam basketball from the threat of match-fixing through 24/7 monitoring technology which uses bespoke algorithms to automatically flag anomalous betting activity.
