THE PUBG MOBILE GLOBAL CHAMPIONSHIP STARTS NOVEMBER 30TH

The conclusion of the 2021 PUBG MOBILE Esports year is about to begin as India is given the Grand Finals invitational slot to support the restart of Indian Esports

The most prestigious tournament in the PUBG MOBILE esports calendar, the PUBG MOBILE Global Championship 2021 (PMGC), officially kicks off on Tuesday, November 30th where an incredible $6,000,000 USD will be on the line. The PMGC is the world’s biggest mobile esports tournament with teams representing more than 30 countries from east to west including the likes of India, China, CIS, Turkey and many more. For 2021, PMGC has chosen to give the Grand Finals invitational slot to India to ensure the highest possible level of global competition.

The PMGC will start with the PMGC League stage on November 30th where 40 teams have been split into two divisions, PMGC West and PMGC East, to play for three weeks of intense and exciting matches. Tuesday and Wednesday will play host to weekly matches where teams will fight for Championship Points in order to head to the Super Weekends.

Following the three Super Weekends, the 16 teams with the most Championship Points will qualify for the PMGC East and PMGC West Finals. The top 16 teams from both PMGC East and PMGC West will then finally collide at the PMGC Grands Finals where one team will be crowned the ultimate winner.

PUBG MOBILE was also recently announced as a nominee for the 2021 The Game Awards in the Best Esports Event category celebrating its work on the PUBG MOBILE Global Championship 2020. The nomination, which is a first for a mobile esport, marks PUBG MOBILE’s commitment to providing its audience with excellent content and a thrilling viewing experience. Fans can support PUBG MOBILE by voting on The Game Awards website ahead of the ceremony on December 9th.

PUBG MOBILE will be one of eight games included in the official esports program for the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou, China. Running from September 10th to September 25th 2022, competitors will play on a special PUBG MOBILE Asian Games Version for their chance at a gold medal. PUBG MOBILE’s inclusion in the Asian Games signifies the prestige and growth of the esport in the east.
