Novibet Appoints Al Alevizakos as CFO
Novibet has confirmed the appointment of Al Alevizakos as Chief Financial Officer of the pan-European online gambling group, with immediate effect.
An expert in corporate finance, auditing and the financial planning of mass market enterprises, Alevizakos joins Novibet’s C-level team from Athens private equity group AXIA Ventures, where he formerly served as Managing Director (2020-22).
A seasoned executive within financial services, Alevizakos has previously led auditing units and research projects for London FX group TP ICAP, HSBC and MedioBanca Italia.
Alevizakos’ appointment was announced on Linkedin, in which Novibet declared: “With a proven track record of managing top-performing teams on a global scale, Al’s commitment to excellence and sustainable growth is a vital ingredient for our growth journey.
“Al’s extensive expertise in capital markets, investment banking and corporate finance and his broad experience in pivotal leadership finance positions instil in us the confidence that, together, we will embark on a journey to steer Novibet to new heights.”
Circa Sports has expanded its operations into Kentucky with the launch of its popular mobile betting app. Debuting via a licensing agreement with ECL Corbin LLC at its Cumberland Run harness track, the brand will take the highest betting limits in the industry along with offering tight money line splits, transparent odds, exceptional customer service, and more.
Marking the fifth state for Circa Sports, the app is now available for download through partnership with the Cumberland Run property in Corbin, Kentucky. The Circa Sports Kentucky app can be downloaded and funded remotely from anywhere. Bettors will have access to transparent and fair limits, made possible with a business model of providing betting lines and odds that are more favorable for the customer.

Volleyball World has joined forces with a betting company, 1xBet, in a five-year global sponsorship agreement. This groundbreaking collaboration, a first for the sport, will encompass both volleyball and beach volleyball events.
The partnership will see 1xBet fully leverage Volleyball World’s digital platforms as well as branding featured throughout live events. It encompasses major volleyball tournaments such as the Volleyball Nations League (VNL), Volleyball World Championships and Club World Championships, as well as marquee beach volleyball events like the Beach Pro Tour (BPT) and the Beach Volleyball World Championships.

The Northern Ireland Football League (NIFL) are pleased to announce VBET as the new official betting partner and title sponsor of the Women’s Premiership League Cup.
The five-year partnership will see VBET promoted through the NI Football League network with impactful signage at stadiums, bespoke digital content on social channels and collaboration on digital innovation projects through to the end of the 2028/2029 season.
