Light & Wonder, Inc. (NASDAQ and ASX: LNW) (together with its subsidiaries, “Light & Wonder” or “L&W”) announced the release of its latest slot, Bloomin’ Bunnies, from specialist slot provider Lightning Box, one of Light & Wonder’s in-house studios.

This newest hit is centered around an Asian rabbit theme, which boasts a captivating Free Games round that houses distinctive multipliers.

To gain access to the Free Games mode on this enchanting 5×3 slot, Scatter Watering Can symbols with different colored buds are the key. If pink, purple and yellow buds all bloom into flowers within five spins, this will unlock the Free Games feature and grant players eight Free Games to begin with.

As the round progresses, users will encounter a variety of ways to land multipliers, prizes and extra Free Games. The Scatter Multiplying Watering Can alongside any flower and the Wild Collect symbol multiplies all prizes and/or Free Games up to x4. In addition, all wins including the Jackpots or Ways Win are multiplied by up to x4.

Extra Free Games can also be activated if the Scatter Multiplying Watering Can and Wild Collect are landed without the flower, awarding a maximum of four Free Games to players, with a Wild Collect on its own granting one extra Free Game.

Finally, the Bunny Jackpot is collected when a Minor or Major flower lands together with a Wild Collect, with these prizes being awarded more than once.

Bloomin’ Bunnies will initially launch in the UK and Europe and will be available to customers of Light & Wonder’s industry-leading OPENGAMING™ platform, alongside popular new titles such as  STELLAR CASH DRAGON PALACE™ and  MONEY LINK™ GREAT IMMORTALS.

Michael Maokhamphiou, Operations Manager at Lightning Box said: “Bloomin’ Bunnies is set to be a real hit for us, thanks to its feature-rich offering, including the compelling Bunny Jackpot which gives players more than one opportunity to win either prize.

“However, the Free Games feature is the star of the show on this slot. Packed with multipliers, players will be given a thrill when entering this round with fast and furious gameplay to the fore, and beautiful aesthetics in the background.”

Rob Procter, VP of Game Development at Light & Wonder said: “Bloomin’ Bunnies is going to be another huge Lightning Box success, with its Asian-inspired theme always proving to be extremely popular with users around the world.

“This engrossing slot exhibits phenomenal playability, and this creation will undoubtedly become one of the studio’s best games of 2023.”

PRAGMATIC PLAY HITS THE SWEET SPOT WITH FRUITY TREATS

Pragmatic Play, a leading content supplier to the iGaming industry, has added Fruity Treats to its collection of clusters pays Slots.

Five or more fruit symbols must connect horizontally or vertically to award a win in this vibrant 7×7 title, which features a variation of the popular multiplier spots mechanic.

At the start of each spin, four marked spots of different colours take up random positions on the grid. If a win forms over a marked spot, a starting multiplier of 5x, 10x, 15x or 20x (depending on the spot colour) will be activated. Each time a winning combination lands on a marked spot after a tumble, the multiplier is applied to the win and then increases by its starting value.

Hitting at least three candy scatters on a spin awards entry to the bonus game with 10 free spins. During the feature, which can be retriggered with five additional free spins, activated multipliers from marked spots do not reset between free spins, potentially leading to massive wins.

Fruity Treats is the latest cluster pays Slot in Pragmatic Play’s multi-award-winning range, joining recent hit Sugar Rush 1000.

Irina Cornides, Chief Operating Officer at Pragmatic Play, said: “The roaming multiplier spots feature in Fruity Treats sets it apart from other successful cluster pays Slots in the Pragmatic Play portfolio, with marked spots staying sticky in the bonus game for even greater win potential.”

Pragmatic Play currently produces up to eight new Slot titles a month, while also delivering Live Casino and Bingo games as part of its multi-product portfolio, available through a single API.

Push Gaming releases a sugary sequel in Retro Sweets

B2B gaming supplier Push Gaming returns to the nostalgic aesthetic of one of 2023’s biggest hits with its latest sequel, Retro Sweets.

Building from the success of Retro Tapes, the slot is again played across a 6×9 matrix but this time swaps audio cassettes with various tasty treats and instant win coins to represent its symbols in this cluster pay outing.

Wild candies make it easier to create winning clusters and also bring the game’s intuitive use of multipliers into play. For each successive win that a wild is a part of, its multiplier increases by 1x while multiplier symbols further increase win potential and provide a progression loop.

Elevating the gameplay further, Retro Sweets introduces the Instant Prize Multiplier which gives regular Instant Prize symbols the potential to form crazy winning clusters.

The now synonymous Cluster Links mechanic also benefits from the sweet collector feature, an augmented version of Retro Tapes’ Magnet mechanic, which gathers all non-clustered coins, symbols and wilds into the same part of the gameboard.

Providing increased player personalisation and amplified replayability, the Push Bet feature allows players to have one or two guaranteed wild candy symbols land on each spin with three needed to enter the bonus round.

Not only does this make entry to the bonus easier, but raises the potential of landing a greater number of wilds – more wilds mean more spins, opportunities to form connecting coins clusters and more maximum wins – continuing the Retro franchise’s synonymity with big prizes.

Retro Sweets blends nostalgic iconography and sound design with innovative mechanics that made the original title a multi-award winner. It follows other notable hits from the studio, including DJ Cat, Samuari’s Katana and Wild Swarm 2.

Senior Game Producer, Ihor Lozinskiy at Push Gaming, said: “Retro Sweets is a mouth-watering, mechanically rich title that amplifies the use of multipliers and offers more ways to win big. The evolved features are set to engage players and allow them to enjoy the slot in a variety of ways, tailored to their play style.

“We’re excited to be expanding upon the success of Retro Tapes and returning to the Cluster Link mechanic for one of our sweetest releases of the year.”

Maxiplier combines a retro-inspired theme with revolutionary gameplay. Speedometer-style icons, on reels two and four, act as both wilds and multipliers that can increase wins up to 20x. Land two of these multipliers simultaneously for a potential max multiplier of 400x.

Maxiplier will launch with the highly anticipated 1-2-infinity ante bet mechanic. Land two scatters on the first two reels and trigger an infinite amount of respins. Collect wins until the third scatter lands, unlocking the thrilling free spins round.

The free spins round features enhanced multiplier wilds alongside the 1-2-Infinity respins, for even bigger wins. This exciting bonus builds upon the success of Realistic Games’ recent hits like Fortune Fortress and Chicken or the Egg? solidifying its position as an industry innovator.
