Casino Guru’s Complaint Resolution Center returned $40 Million back to the players

Casino Guru’s Complaint Resolution Center has proudly reached a major milestone in its mission to protect players and foster transparency within the online gambling industry. As of February 2025, the Center has successfully helped players recover over $40,000,000 USD —a landmark figure that solidifies CRC’s reputation as the global leader in online gambling complaint resolution.
In addition to this financial milestone, March 2025 also marked another significant achievement with the 50,000th complaint published on the platform.
A historic quarter
The last quarter of 2024 played a pivotal role in pushing CRC past the $40 million threshold. Three high-value complaints alone accounted for a substantial portion of the recovered funds:
- $1.34 million USD was recovered for a player from Lebanon, following a complex case involving KYC (Know Your Customer) verification issues.
- Two additional cases, each exceeding $300,000 USD, involved players from Georgia and India. One was related to a Jackpot win and subsequent gameplay review; the other centered around problems with email verification.
The CRC team has also grown. Since the beginning of 2025, four new members have joined the department, bringing the total number of staff to 25. One of the new members is already focusing specifically on self-exclusion-related cases, which have seen a notable rise. In response to this growing trend, CRC published its first internal Self-Exclusion Manual at the end of 2024 to guide the team in handling these sensitive issues with consistency and care.
Continued impact
Since its inception in August 2019, the Complaint Resolution Center has:
- Published over 51,000 complaints
- Successfully resolved over 14,000 cases
- Recovered more than $41.4 million USD for players
- Maintained a resolution rate of 28%, with a focus on fairness and accountability

Plaza Hotel & Casino hosting summer leagues with Honcho Pickleball

Offering 16 rooftop pickleball courts, the most of any Las Vegas resort, the Plaza Hotel & Casino in downtown Las Vegas will offer a summer pickleball league beginning Tuesday, June 10 through a partnership with Honcho, the premier pickleball community coordinating leagues nationwide for all experience levels.
Open to players 18 years or older and at any skill level (novice, intermediate, upper intermediate, or advanced), the Honcho summer league at the Plaza will offer registered players weekly matches, waived court fees, a chance to win a champion prize package valued at $600, and free Honcho branded apparel and equipment.
In addition, at the end of each weekly match, participants can connect with fellow players and relax at the exclusive Honcho happy hour held at Carousel Bar.
The Honcho summer league at the Plaza Hotel & Casino lasts 6 weeks followed by 2 weeks of playoffs. Teams at the Plaza’s summer league also compete for the chance to qualify for the Honcho National Tournament comprised of the top 3 teams from each league/skillset-division that is held at the end of the year.

Nazara-Owned Nextwave Multimedia Partners with Winners Alliance to Bring 500+ Pro Players to the World Cricket Championship Game Franchise
Winners Alliance, the commercial partner of the World Cricketers’ Association (WCA), has announced a new licensing agreement with Nextwave Multimedia, a subsidiary of Nazara Technologies and the developer behind the popular World Cricket Championship (WCC) mobile game franchise.
Through the partnership, Nextwave will integrate names, images and likenesses of over 500 WCA-affiliated professional cricketers into its WCC titles. With hundreds of millions of downloads across its six releases, WCC remains one of the most widely played games across platforms.
Players currently incorporated in WCC3 include top international names, with additional athletes set to be introduced in May. The upcoming WCC4, scheduled for release later this year, will also feature stars such as Kagiso Rabada and Heinrich Klaasen from South Africa, Devon Conway and Tim Southee from New Zealand, Joe Root and Jos Buttler from England, Nicholas Pooran and Sunil Narine from West Indies, Rashid Khan from Afghanistan, and David Wiese from Namibia, in addition to players from Australia, Canada, Ireland, Zimbabwe, and the United States.
The agreement enables cricketers that are part of the Winners Alliance group licensing program to generate incremental off-field income and gain wider visibility. It also engages Nextwave Multimedia users, allowing them to play as their favourite cricketers.
