Thunderkick offers up scorching wins and spicy features in Hellapeños

Independent slots studio Thunderkick is turning up the heat and daring players to brave Hellapeños, its scorching new release.

Set in the fiery depths of hell itself, players are transported to a glowing red bar where spicy cocktails and red-hot wins are being served up. The game presents a unique 3-3-4-4-4 reel formation, with symbols including bottles, card ranks and a devilish dog needing to land in left-to-right sequences with no gaps to award a win.

Multiplier Wild symbols, in the form of chilli peppers and carrying x2 values, can land anywhere on the grid and substitute for all symbols except Scatters and Expanding Devils. Up to three Multiplier Wilds can land on any payline, presenting a maximum total multiplier of x8.

If the two leftmost reels are made up of identical symbols, between one and three Multiplier Wilds will be randomly placed on the right three reels.

Expanding Devil symbols can appear on the third, fourth and fifth reels, with these symbols expanding to cover the entire reel and turn it Wild should they make up part of a winning combination. If it expands through a Multiplier Wild symbol, it too turns into a multiplier that applies to the entire reel.

Landing three or more Scatters on the third, fourth and fifth reels will activate the Bonus Game, granting seven free spins. Expanding Devils landing on these same reels during the Bonus will activate that reel for the round’s entirety, automatically introducing one of these symbols on that reel upon every subsequent spin for fired-up winning chances.

The release also features a Bonus Buy option, allowing players in select jurisdictions to trigger the free spins bonus round for a cost of 70x their base bet.
