Super Bingo winner celebrates jackpot and life after heart attack

Pam from Massachusetts won $50,000 today at the Plaza Hotel & Casino’s Super Bingo Tournament. While the win is obviously great… what makes this win even more spectacular is that it comes one year to the day from when Pam suffered a heart attack while attending last year’s October Super Bingo event at the Plaza. She has played Super Bingo at the Plaza for the past four years – attending typically two tournaments a year – but last year, her bingo playing abruptly ended when she was admitted to Valley Hospital for a heart attack. Thankfully, she fully recovered and came back this year. And today, she not only celebrates her one year anniversary of recovering from her heart attack but also a $50,000 bingo jackpot!

Super Bingo at the Plaza draws nearly 1,000 people from across the country for a three-day tournament held nine times a year. Today is the second day of the current tournament, and the next one will be held Nov. 27-29 during which Clark County residents who register can bring a friend for free.
