Winner alert! — To celebrate its 50th anniversary the Plaza Hotel & Casino ran a special slot contest to giveaway $50,000 in cash prizes to 50 winners, including a grand prize of $20,000. Throughout 2021, players could earn entries to win via slot play, and winners were selected during a live drawing at 7 p.m. on Nov. 20.
On Saturday, Jose T. won the grand prize of $20,000. A local Las Vegas resident, he is going to use the money to fix the roof on his house. He chose envelope number 3 because he “made it official” with his partner on November 3, 2020.
