POKER LEGEND CHRIS MONEYMAKER JOINS E-WALLET COMPANY TO OFFER THE MUCHBETTER MONEYMAKER POKER EXPERIENCE

Leading e-wallet digital payments provider MuchBetter has partnered with poker legend Chris Moneymaker to offer its customers the chance to recreate the heroic journey from an unknown casual poker player to World Champion.

MuchBetter customers who register then upload US$ 86 in their e-wallet and deposit on their favourite online poker site will be entered into the MuchBetter Moneymaker Poker Experience draw and receive one chance to win one of three poker tournament experiences which includes a US$ 10,000 buy-in to a poker tournament and more. Every subsequent $1 they upload and deposit during September gives them another entry, so the more customers load, the more chances to win.

Eighteen years ago, US$ 86 turned Chris Moneymaker into a poker champion. Now, MuchBetter customers have their own chance to follow Moneymaker’s journey and they will have the legend himself to guide them along the path he trod in 2003.

As well as the poker buy-in, the winners will receive private online poker lessons from the legend himself to refine and hone their poker skills and strategy, and a whole lot of high-tech equipment to make their home poker set up much more enjoyable and slick.

Chris Moneymaker’s dream run to the WSOP 2003 Main Event title captured the imagination of recreational poker players everywhere when he won US$ 2.5 million after securing his seat via an US$ 86 online qualifying tournament.

The e-wallet app is known for its MegaDraw, the quarterly rewards draw which this year will give away 12,500 EUR each to four winners. The Moneymaker Poker Experience will award 50 runners up with an additional 1000 MegaDraw points to their MuchBetter accounts that will boost their chances of winning one of the cash prizes.
