16-bit platformer Nyanroo The Supercat Wins Fan Favorite Vote Round 11 at the Game Development World Championship 2021!

Nyanroo The Supercat by small independent Brazilian game studio Golden Shelves Software has won the 11th Fan Favorite Weekly Vote in the Game Development World Championship 2021 (GDWC).

“Nyanroo is a new platform game that pays homage to the 16-bit era. Chosen by a magic cloth you must face a gang of evil dogs trying to conquer the world. Gather different abilities with the help of the Power Yarns scattered through the world to slash and pounce your way through 14 stages and 7 amazing bosses.” The game is available on Steam Early Access.

Golden Shelves Software and Nyanroo move to the Final voting round, to be held at the end of GDWC 2021, and compete for the Crown of tthe Fan Favorite category.

2nd place went to FULL ADHD – Täyttä elämää by Finnish game studio Psyon Games. The game is a choice game that takes the player into the world of a diverse ADHD experience.

3rd place was taken by BURNT ASHES, a first game developed by student team PANOMIXGAMES from Turkey. The game is a 3D first-person horror game where player is a prisoner looking for an escape after falling into a coma.
