Lightning Box enters Norwegian market with Norsk Tipping

Aussie studio launches with Astro Cat

Australian slots specialist Lightning Box has made its debut in Norway after agreeing to supply its games to Norsk Tipping.

The Australian supplier has gone live via its distribution partner SG Digital with player favourite Astro Cat.

Based in Hamar and administered by the Norwegian government’s Ministry of Culture, Norsk Tipping offers a wide range of lottery, sports betting, slots and instant games.

Peter Causley, CEO and co-founder of Lightning Box, said he was pleased to be entering a new market and would comply with its strict limits on maximum stakes and wins.

He added: “Norsk Tipping has a preeminent position in Norway and this new partnership presents us with some interesting opportunities to get in front of new players.

“It is also testament to the universal popularity of our games that we can make a smooth transition into another market to go alongside those we currently supply in the rest of Europe and North America.”
