Epic Esports Events announces the new season of EPIC League

Epic Esports Events tournament operator announces the third season of the EPIC League Dota 2 tournament.

‘We are pleased to introduce the third season of EPIC League, which will take place from March 2 to 21 and bring together 16 teams from the CIS and Europe. At the moment, we are at the final stage of negotiations with the participants and will gradually announce them on our platforms. I am sure that the upcoming tournament will be a great show for all Dota 2 fans.’

The first details of the third season of EPIC League Dota 2 tournament:

  • The matches of the third season of EPIC League will be held in two divisions in the Europe / CIS region;

  • The group stage of the third season will bring together 16 teams and will be held according to the Swiss system;

  • 1-8 places of the group stage will go to the first division playoffs with $85,000 prize fund, 9-16 places will go to the second division playoffs with $15,000;

  • The group stage will be held from 2 to 13 March 2021;

  • The first division play-off matches will be held from March 14 to 21 in Bo3 format, the final games of the tournament will be held in Bo5 format;

  • The EPIC League Second Division play-offs will take place between March 15 and 21, 2021, with all games played in the Bo3 format.

The participants of the tournament will be announced later.
