Light & Wonder Inc. has announced the promotion of Nathan Drane to Chief Product Officer (CPO).

Nathan has been serving as Chief Product Officer of the Gaming business for the last year and has been with the Company since early 2021, after more than 12 years in various product-centric roles in the industry. In his expanded role as enterprise-wide CPO, Light & Wonder will bring all game creation across the Company under one department led by Drane.

Light & Wonder Inc. announced that its SQUID GAME slot machine is now live on casino floors with the title having made its world debut at Yaamava’ Resort & Casino.

Based on the widely acclaimed and most-popular Netflix series of all time, SQUID GAME, the captivating theme seamlessly integrates iconic games from the show such as Red Light, Green Light, Tug of War, and The Glass Tile.

The barrier-breaking cabinet also offers a large, transparent IDECK with integrated lighting, 27-inch touch screen, mobile charger, and dual play buttons for an immersive and seamless player experience.

The Company also introduced a digital adaptation of the theme earlier this year, further cementing Light & Wonder’s position as the leading cross-platform global games company.

Light & Wonder Inc. announced that the Oregon Lottery has purchased more than 1200 additional Video Lottery Terminals (VLT). This comes less than a year after the Oregon Lottery purchased 1175 VLTs following the successful trial phase in the state.

The gaming machines will house diverse player-favorite games such as BLAZING HOT CELEBRATIONS, LIGHTNING TUSKS, AMERICAN ORIGINAL, BIER HAUS, AMERICAN ORIGINAL STARS & BARS, QUICK HIT MONEY WHEEL, TREASURE FRUITS, FLUSH FRENZY Poker, and more.
