Merging worlds: Tetris® and Slingo combine in Gaming Realms’ latest release
Gaming Realms, a leading provider of mobile-focused gaming content, has collaborated with The Tetris Company, Inc. to blend the iconic visuals from the Tetris® game with innovative Slingo gameplay in its latest release Tetris® Slingo.
The title takes the popular puzzle game that video game enthusiasts have enjoyed for decades and blends it with Gaming Realms’ legendary Slingo concept, to offer familiar yet transformative elements.
Converting the famed gameplay into the slots medium, the title is played on a 5×5 Matrix filled with randomly generated numbers that must be matched to those present on the bottom reel to mark their position. Players are granted 10 spins to mark as many numbers as possible with each line formed awarding a Slingo and each Tetrimino shape created in doing so granting an incrementally increasing cash prize.
Aiding in creating these lines are wilds and super wild symbols which allow players to choose which number to mark next and a free spin symbol which grants additional opportunities to land more numbers.
At least three Slingos are required to gain entry to the Tetris Clusters bonus round, however, landing additional ones will award more spins and access an enhanced version of the bonus.
A Matrix up to 16×8 in size can unlock depending on the number of Slingos initially formed in the base game. Here, up to 16 free spins can be awarded with numerous Tetrimino shapes falling onto the gameboard and granting wins if adjacent to any matched symbols, with larger clusters granting higher rewards culminating in 1000x being able to be awarded each spin.
