Lightning Box premieres blockbuster title Stunt Stars
Scatters, Free Games and a Bonus game rev things up in the thrilling new slot
Light & Wonder, Inc. (NASDAQ: LNW) (“Light & Wonder,” “L&W” or the “Company”) Specialist iGaming provider Lightning Box has opened the curtain on its stunning new game Stunt Stars after taking inspiration from the action-packed movie genre.
This 3×5 reeler, which boasts 243 different ways to win, features fast and furious game play and an authentic soundtrack straight from the pages of a Hollywood script.
It will make its debut in the UK and EU this week with the Rank Group followed by a general release in two weeks’ time.
The slot’s symbols include the classic 10, Jack, Queen, King, and Ace, as well as a clapper board and stunt doubles. The Wild symbol is a Car and the Scatter Bonus symbol is a Sky Diver.
Players are awarded a Bonus symbol when three, four or five Bonuses land on the grid, before being transported to a different screen where they have to pick the Sky Diver they believe will give them the biggest reward. During this bonus round, Free Games and Stunt Stars are collected. Each Stunt Star adds five Scatter Stunts to the reels.
Free Games are also collected and added to the total of Free Games played. The Parachute symbol begins this round and a maximum of 15 Free Games are awarded during the Sky Dive Bonus.
The Stunt Feature is awarded by collecting any Stunt Double symbol across the reels. The on-screen pay is repeated for each Scatter Stunt at twice the original payout. There is an additional pay for any three, four or five Stunt Double across the reels of 30. If five symbols are landed, the total win would be x11 the original payout.
This title will be available to customers of Light & Wonder’s industry-leading OpenGaming™ platform, lining up with Lightning Box’s other popular slots.

Tomorrow night, Friday, July 11, members of the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV) dance team, the Scarlet Dance Line will be the guests of honor to ignite the fireworks from the TNT box at 9:15 p.m. at Carousel Bar. UNLV alumni and fans are encouraged to wear university gear to Carousel Bar, which will have a DJ starting at 7 p.m. and offer a special cocktail, the Rebel Rita, a frozen strawberry margarita made with Mi Campo Blanco, for the night.
Next Friday, July 18, the mascot for the Vegas Knight Hawks, Risk will be on hand as the TNT ignitor at Carousel Bar honoring the professional indoor football team that plays at Lee’s Family Forum in Henderson. A DJ will again be entertaining guests at Carousel Bar starting at 7 p.m.
Staged from the top of the Plaza’s South Tower every Friday at 9:15 p.m. from May through September, the public can watch the Welcome to the Weekend Friday Fireworks Show for free from in front of the Plaza on Main Street, which will be closed to vehicular traffic during the show for viewing the fireworks from Carson Avenue to Ogden Avenue.
The Plaza’s fireworks will be dependent on weather conditions and are subject to change or cancellation. Updates will be available on the Plaza’s social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
