GGPoker To Sponsor £500,000-Guaranteed United Kingdom Poker Championships

GGPoker today announces that it has partnered with the UK’s premier live poker venue, Dusk Till Dawn, to sponsor the upcoming United Kingdom Poker Championships (UKPC). The UKPC Main Event features a £560 buy-in, boasts £500,000 in guaranteed prizes, plus over £50,000 in added prizes for all players that qualify at GGPoker. The event is scheduled to run online at GGPoker (from January 7) and live at Dusk Till Dawn, Nottingham (from January 11).

Currently running GGPoker satellites to the UKPC main event include:

• UKPC Daily Dollar Qualifiers @ 20:00 (beginning October 17) – one seat to the UKPC Main Event tournament every day for just $1! A total of 60 UKPC Main Event tickets will be awarded via the Daily Dollar Qualifiers

• UKPC Weekly $80 Super Satellites @ 20:30 every Wednesday (beginning October 26) – one seat to the UKPC main event for every £560 ($640) in the prize pool, with eight seats guaranteed in each weekly event

Other qualifying options will be unveiled in the coming weeks.

Additionally, all GGPoker players that qualify to play in the UKPC Main Event, will gain entry to an exclusive UKPC Aftermath £25K Freeroll, giving players another bite of the cherry no matter how they fare in the live tournament.

All GGPoker qualifiers to the UKPC Main Event will play their preferred online Day 1 at GGPoker, either Saturday, January 7 or Thursday, January 12, with the top 20% going on to play the live Day 2 at Dusk till Dawn.

Players can also buy directly into the UKPC Main Event Day 1s hosted at GGPoker.
