Innovative mobile-first software provider invites players to take the plunge in a brand-new Premium release that boasts a Pearl Feature which can award wave after wave of prizes

Having already made waves in the industry this year after winning the EGR Global B2B Awards’ Innovation in Mobile category, Swintt are diving back into action this month to bring players even more underwater excitement in a brand-new Premium release named Lucky Mermaid.

A five-reel, 10 pay line slot, Lucky Mermaid takes place to a backdrop of coral reefs and clear blue seas. Bubbles float up from the base of the screen as the reels spin and a menagerie of marine life falls into place, with symbols including fish, turtles and the mythical creature that gives the game its name.

The Lucky Mermaid acts as the slot’s wild and can be substituted for any regular base game icon when completing winning pay lines, but players will also need to look out for special MULTI symbols as they spin. With one letter appearing on each column, landing an M, U, L, T or I icon will store it in a special bar above the reels – and once the word is completed, the rewarding Pearl Feature will be activated.

When this happens, a vibrant school of fish will dart across the screen as a free respins round begins on a new set of reels featuring only pearls. Initially players will receive three respins, but each time a pearl stops in view, it will lock in place and the counter will reset. This will continue until one of two things happens – either no new pearls appear and the respins end or the reels are completely filled.

In either case, the values displayed on each pearl symbol at the end of the feature will be added together to give players their total prize. The amount will be awarded on top of any winnings from the triggering spin and they’ll then be returned to the base game so they can start collecting letters again.

Like other games in the Swintt Premium collection, Lucky Mermaid also offers players the chance to boost their base game wins using the popular Risk Feature. Available after any winning spin, this potentially lucrative mini-game simply requires them to correctly guess the colour or suit of a hidden playing card to double or quadruple their prize respectively.
