Boyd Gaming Awards More Than $145,000 to Charities Nationwide in 2020 “Wreaths of Hope” Competition
Boyd Gaming Corporation has announced that it awarded more than $145,000 to non-profit organizations across the country in the Company’s annual holiday competition, “Wreaths of Hope.”
More than 135 non-profit organizations participated in the 2020 competition, decorating wreaths that were displayed online and at Boyd Gaming properties nationwide. A total of 18 Boyd Gaming destinations participated in Wreaths of Hope in Nevada, Illinois, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, and Pennsylvania. Winners were decided directly by Boyd Gaming customers, who were invited to vote for their favorite charities online and in-person at select participating properties.
Since launching Trees of Hope in 2007 in Louisiana, Boyd Gaming has awarded more than $850,000 to hundreds of non-profit organizations in the annual competition. The $145,000 national prize pool awarded in 2020 represented the largest prize pool in the history of the competition.

Boyd Gaming Corporation Chooses Agilysys InfoGenesis SaaS Ecosystem as its Point of Sale (POS) Solution Standard
Agilysys Inc., a leading global provider of hospitality software and services, announced that Boyd Gaming Corporation has signed a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) agreement for InfoGenesis, the Agilysys omnichannel enterprise POS ecosystem, to be deployed across its 28 gaming entertainment properties in the US.
When fully implemented, data and transactions will be unified across all endpoints, including self-service kiosks, on-demand mobile food and beverage ordering profit centers and kitchen display stations. Data across systems will help Boyd optimize guest engagement and offers as well as operational decisions.
In addition to the InfoGenesis core system, Agilysys solutions in the agreement include OnDemand, guest self-service Kiosks, Kitchen Display Stations (KDS), Loyalty-Promotions and Analyze.

Boyd Gaming Appoints Michael Hartmeier to Board of Directors

Boyd Gaming Corporation announced the appointment of Michael A. Hartmeier to its Board of Directors.
Hartmeier is the former group head of lodging, gaming, and leisure investment banking for Barclays, and previously served as group head for hospitality and gaming for both Lehman Brothers and Credit Suisse First Boston. During his 25-year career in investment banking, Hartmeier completed more than $125 billion in financing and advisory assignments, including work for numerous gaming companies.
Hartmeier is currently a member of the Board of Directors for DiamondRock Hospitality Company, a self-advised real estate investment trust with a portfolio of premium hotels and resorts nationwide. Hartmeier also previously served as a member of the Board of Directors of Full House Resorts Inc.

Boyd Gaming Donates More Than $200,000 to Non-Profits Nationwide in 2023 “Wreaths and Trees of Hope” Competition
Boyd Gaming Corporation announced that it donated more than $200,000 to nearly 190 non-profit organizations nationwide in its 2023 “Wreaths of Hope” and “Trees of Hope” competition.
A total of 186 non-profits across 11 states participated in the annual holiday competition, with participants decorating wreaths or trees in the spirit of their organization’s mission. Cash prizes were determined by votes from Boyd Gaming customers, who were invited to vote for their favorite charities online and in-person throughout the holiday season. The 2023 national prize pool was the largest in the 16-year history of the contest.
Since Trees of Hope debuted at Delta Downs Racetrack Casino Hotel in 2007, the annual competition has expanded to 26 Boyd Gaming properties nationwide, with Boyd properties participating in Nevada, California, Kansas, Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Louisiana, and Mississippi. To date, the Company has awarded nearly $1.5 million to non-profit organizations through Wreaths of Hope and Trees of Hope.
