2021 WORLD SERIES OF POKER® IN REVIEW: WEEK FOUR HIGHLIGHTS AND WHAT TO LOOK FORWARD TO

The 52nd annual World Series of Poker® (WSOP®) wrapped up its fourth week of play at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino where the stakes were higher and the jackpots were bigger. Week four delivered on excitement with millionaires being made and new players solidifying their spot in poker history.

Poker fans and interested media can tune into the weekly WSOP virtual press conference on Friday, Oct. 29 at 12 p.m. PST where host Tiffany Michelle dives deeper into this week’s milestone events with special guests, bracelet winners and more. Week 4 Highlights:

  • Chad Norton Wins A Bracelet in His First-Ever WSOP Event
    Chad Norton came out victorious in his first-ever WSOP event, taking home a WSOP gold bracelet and $214,830 in cash earnings. An ex-car salesman turned online poker player, Norton has not played in many live tournaments, having only played one tournament event prior to this year’s WSOP.
  • Josh Arieh Wins Third Bracelet in Event #39: $1,500 Pot-Limit Omaha
    After 15 years without a bracelet win, Josh Arieh took home his third gold bracelet and $204,766 in Event #39: $1,500 Pot-Limit Omaha. Despite not playing as much as he used to, Arieh said he will be trying for a fourth bracelet.
  • Michael Addamo Wins Third WSOP Gold Bracelet in Event #38: $50K High Roller
    After defeating an elite 81-player field including Justin Bonomo in a heads-up match during Event #38: $50,000 High Roller, Michael Addamo took home his third WSOP gold bracelet and a whopping $1,132,968 in prize winnings.
  • Bradley Ruben Dazzles in the $1,500 Razz; Wins Third WSOP Bracelet
    Bradley Ruben earned his third career WSOP gold bracelet in Event #42: $1,500 Razz, taking home $99,188 in cash earnings. This is Ruben’s first live bracelet and his first victory in a category other than Pot-Limit Omaha.
  • Brian Rast Wins Fifth Bracelet; Sets Sights on Poker Hall of Fame
    Brian Rast took home his fifth WSOP gold bracelet and $474,102 in Event #51: $3,000 6-Handed No-Limit Hold’em. No stranger to the world of professional poker, Rast has more than $22 million in tournament earnings and has claimed two WSOP Poker Player’s Championships.

  • Wednesday, Nov. 4 – Event #67A: MAIN EVENT No-Limit Hold’em World Championship – Day 1A
    The highly anticipated WSOP Main Event kicks off with its first day of play next Wednesday. The $10,000 buy in will take place starting at 11 a.m.
  • Sunday, Oct. 31 – Online Event #6: WSOP.com Online Bracelet Championship

Players will compete for a WSOP gold bracelet in one of the newly added online bracelet events.

  • Upcoming WSOP live action on PokerGO: PokerGO is the exclusive live streaming home of the 2021 WSOP.
