The partnership marks one of the most significant tie-ups within the gaming industry in recent times, uniting one of the world’s most popular mobile games with a global sporting icon. Free Fire’s partnership with Cristiano Ronaldo builds on its strategy to continuously bring exciting content for all users all over the world; to enrich, engage, and inspire users to battle in their own styles while having fun along the way.

Cristiano Ronaldo, Free Fire’s latest global brand ambassador, expressed his delight at partnering with one of the world’s most popular mobile battle royale titles, particularly as he worked closely with the team to bring Chrono to life. “It’s a great feeling having not only a character in Free Fire modelled after me, but also having the whole universe within the game changing along with it.”

SportQuake CEO, Matt House, shared how this partnership is not only exciting for fans of Cristiano Ronaldo and Free Fire, but also for the wider sports and gaming industry. “Football, gaming, and tech are coming together to create exciting new collaborations and this one between Cristiano Ronaldo and Free Fire is on another level,” House said.
“The amount of planning, creativity and detail that has gone into making Chrono is just amazing and is really exciting for Free Fire players. This partnership demonstrates the endless possibilities for both industries,” House added. SportQuake, the football partnership experts, were among the parties involved to bring the partnerships to life.

THE BATTLE OF POLYTOPIA ANNOUNCES GLOBAL WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS WITH $10,000 PRIZE POOL

Midjiwan, the award-winning independent studio behind The Battle of Polytopia has today announced The Polytopia World Championship with a prize pool of $10,000 USD and a live final broadcast from Stockholm.
The Polytopia World Championship is set to launch this fall, uniting players from across the globe in an epic showdown of fast-paced strategic mastery. The tournament will be themed to Battle of the Tribes. Players will choose to compete with one of Polytopia’s 12 in-game tribes; each with a unique regional theme and skillset.
The tournament will begin with open qualifiers, giving everyone a chance to prove themselves. From there, players will advance through tribe-specific playoffs and head-to-head elimination rounds, each match bringing them one step closer to glory.
The top six players will earn a spot in the live finals in Stockholm on December 6: an in-person event streamed online for fans worldwide. In addition to live commentary of the tournament, the fan event will also provide behind-the-scenes content from the Midjiwan team.
The winner will be awarded a prize pool of $10,000; making this tournament the biggest competitive event in The Battle of Polytopia’s nine year history.
