Reflex Gaming, the UK’s largest independently owned omni-channel game supplier, has launched Sidewinder Xtra Power, the sequel to one of its most iconic titles.
Built on a classic 5×3, 20-payline fruit layout, Sidewinder Xtra Power will prove once again that fruit slots never go out of fashion. In the sequel, we see the return of the legendary Sidewinder Shuffle that made the original a player favourite. This time, it’s charged with a new layer of power that raises the stakes from the very first spin. The mechanic that fans know and love remains at the heart of the game: five orbs lighting up above the reels triggers the Sidewinder Feature, where losing spins are transformed into winners as the reels shuffle into line.
With every winning shuffle, the multiplier trail climbs higher, and trail targets unlock Wilds, Super Wilds, Mega Wilds and symbol upgrades. Mystery symbols can land at any point in the base game, their shutters opening simultaneously across the reels to reveal the same symbol — and the potential for some seriously big wins.
The headline addition is the Xtra Power Sidewinder feature. In the base game, four orbs lighting up will boost the power bar. Once the power bar is full, the next shuffle feature triggered will open the Xtra Power feature. Fill that bar and the next feature becomes an Xtra Power event — each triggering orb reveals a multiplier boost, supercharging the trail.
The result is a game with a dual rhythm: players chasing the standard feature while simultaneously building toward something bigger, creating sustained engagement that rewards session length.
Mat Ingram, CPO at Reflex Gaming, said: “With Xtra Power, we wanted to give the Sidewinder experience an extra dimension, and the power bar does exactly that.
“Players now have two things to chase simultaneously, and when the Xtra Power feature fires with the multiplier already boosted from the start, it delivers the kind of moment that is truly the cherry on top.”
Sidewinder Xtra Power is available now through the Yggdrasil Masters Program.
