Gaming Corps heads back to the Wild West with Wild Woof Returns
Gaming Corps – a publicly-listed game development company based in Sweden, has expanded its slot portfolio with the release of Wild Woof Returns, a sequel to the successful Wild Woof title that pushes the original’s feature-driven gameplay into higher gear.
Wild Woof Returns throws players straight back into a cartoon-style Wild West, where Sheriff Woof Garret is once again hot on the heels of the outlaw Feline Four. Packed with dusty saloons, wanted posters and runaway reels, the game builds on the original’s chase-driven identity while dialling up the action through escalating multipliers and expanding reel configurations.
Set across a ways-to-win format, Wild Woof Returns features grid sizes that scale from 3/4/4/4/4/3 up to a full 4/4/4/4/4/4 layout, offering up to 4,096 ways to win. Players should watch out for the epic Wild outlaw symbols which appear exclusively on reels two to five and can reveal additive multipliers ranging from x2 to x5. These multipliers persist throughout Free Spins, allowing wins to stack up as the sheriff’s pursuit gathers pace.
Two distinct Free Spins features give players different routes into the heart of the multiplier action. Wanted Woof Free Spins is triggered by landing three Bonus symbols and plays on the base game reel configuration, keeping the focus on escalating Wild multipliers that grow in value as repeat Wilds land. Multipliers always start at x2 and can increase through x3 and x4, up to a final x5, with each step adding further weight to the overall game multiplier applied on every spin.
Dog or a Wild Free Spins is unlocked by landing four Bonus symbols and immediately expands the grid to the maximum 4/4/4/4/4/4 layout. This mode leans into wider reel coverage and more frequent multiplier hits, with Wild multipliers active at any time rather than building in sequence. The result is a faster, more aggressive Free Spins experience, where additive multipliers and expanded ways to win combine to push the game’s win potential to its peak.
Alexandros Mavroudis, Product Owner at Gaming Corps, said: “In Wild Woof Returns, we wanted to step back into that cartoonish Wild West world and let it run a little wilder. The original game gave us a strong, recognisable foundation in terms of characters and tone, so the focus this time was on expanding the mechanics around it, bigger reel setups, more active multipliers and Free Spins that feel distinctly different from one another.”
