Team Vitality closes out the summer with a major milestone, taking third place in the overall club standings at the Esports World Cup 2025 (EWC) in Riyadh. Competing across eleven titles, Vitality teams created unforgettable highlights on the global esports stage. This achievement reflects the club’s depth of talent, competitive versatility, and commitment to excellence.

As part of its ambition to become the world’s number one esports club, Team Vitality continues to put performance at the heart of its strategy. This third-place finish proves the organization’s ability to field world-class rosters and deliver results at the biggest international events.

2025 PERFORMANCE HIGHLIGHTS

Team Vitality entered this year’s EWC with a true competitor’s mindset. At this tournament, every victory counts and with 11 teams competing, the club left its mark on 9 different titles, offering unforgettable moments for fans worldwide:

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Women’s Invitational – 1st Place

Vitality’s women’s team claimed a historic win at the MLBB Women’s Invitational, staying undefeated throughout the tournament. The victory represents not only a landmark achievement for the team but also a major step forward for women’s esports on a global scale.

EA Sports FC Pro World Championship – 2nd Place

Brice “Brice” Masson secured an outstanding second place, showcasing composure and world-class skill. His dramatic semifinal comeback against Levi de Weerd (Team Liquid) led to a nail-biting final against ManuBachoore (Team Liquid).

RENNSPORT – 3rd Place

Vitality’s simracing roster continued to impress, finishing third in RENNSPORT and contributing crucial points to the club’s overall ranking.

Free Fire – 3rd Place

After finishing eighth in the Knockout Round, Vitality’s Free Fire team stormed back in the Grand Finals with strong performances, including two decisive match wins, to claim third place.

“It’s incredibly rewarding to see the club deliver excellence across so many titles: 9 out of 11 teams in the global Top 8, and all 11 within the Top 12. I’m especially proud of our historic Mobile Legends: Bang Bang victory, which recognizes the efforts and dedication of our women’s roster,” said Danny Engels, Global Operations Director at Team Vitality.“Beyond competition, this Esports World Cup was a huge opportunity to strengthen our international visibility, particularly among our fans in Indonesia and France. Of course, there’s a small disappointment in not reaching second place, but we are extremely proud of this journey. It’s also a validation of our business model and gives us the perfect foundation to keep building and aiming even higher in the years ahead.”

LOOKING AHEAD TO 2026

After Top 4 in 2024 and Top 3 in 2025, Team Vitality continues to move closer to the ultimate goal: becoming the best esports club in the world. By shining at major international competitions like the Esports World Cup, the club is not only building a lasting legacy but also inspiring fans across the globe.

“Finishing Top 3 at the Esports World Cup is an outstanding achievement and a fantastic moment for the club. We reached our objective, but we also see that there’s still room to grow. These results prove that we’re on the right path and fuel our ambition to aim even higher in the future,” said Fabien “Neo” Devide, President and Co-Founder of Team Vitality.

Next stop: continuing international expansion and chasing the coveted number one spot.
