GGPoker Unveils $250M Prize Pool For GGPoker World Festival Tournament Series
The record-breaking online poker tournament series returns on May 5, featuring hundreds of series events across four buy-in tiers
GGPoker, the World’s Biggest Poker Room, is thrilled to announce the return of its highly-anticipated GGPoker World Festival online tournament series, set to take place from Sunday, May 5 through Tuesday, June 11.
Following the groundbreaking success of last year’s series, which boasted a record-breaking $200M in prize pool guarantees, the 2024 edition raises the stakes even higher with an unprecedented $250M in guaranteed prizes.
The GGPoker World Festival schedule will feature a diverse array of tournaments across four buy-in tiers, ensuring that players of all levels can find events suited to their preferences:
- Low Tier ($2.50+ buy-in)
- Medium Tier ($25+ buy-in)
- High Tier ($150+ buy-in)
- Super Tier ($1,050+ buy-in)
Players will have the opportunity to qualify for festival events through satellite tournaments running throughout the series.
In addition to the monumental prize pool, participants will compete for a share of $2.5 million in extra prizes through the GGPoker World Festival tournament leaderboard. Leaderboard points will be awarded for each series event played, with $250K in prizes distributed between the Low Tier leaderboard winners, $500K between Medium Tier leaderboard winners, $750K between High Tier leaderboard winners and $1M between Super Tier leaderboard winners.
Various series events will be broadcast at GGPoker.tv, with details to be confirmed in the near future.

Following a hugely successful first event in Cincinnati, Ohio in September 2023, the Moneymaker Tour is returning to the Hard Rock Casino Cincinnati on September 17 – 30, 2024 with a packed schedule that will guarantee more than $1 million across 15 trophy events.
In September 2023’s inaugural stop at Hard Rock Cincinnati, the $1,500 Main Event was contested by 788 players and won by Joseph Bakun for $208,034. The Moneymaker Tour was created in 2023 by 2003 WSOP Champion and ACR Team Pro, Chris Moneymaker and Moneymaker Tour Executive Manager, Tony Burns. The Tour was conceived as a way for Moneymaker to give poker players opportunities to have their own ordinary to extraordinary moments as he did.
Despite its relative newcomer status, the Moneymaker Tour has made a name for itself, recently being voted the third most popular live poker tournament series behind only the World Series of Poker and the World Poker Tour, in a State of Poker survey. Since its inception, there have been eight events throughout Florida, Cincinnati and Houston.
