Play’n GO returns to deep space for the latest grid slot title in its popular Reactoonz IP series, Gargantoonz
Play’n GO is driven by pushing iGaming into a sustainable, progressive future and giving the fans what they want. Across the expansive 300+ slot portfolio – many titles, series and IPs have become fan favourites over the years – and the Reactoonz series is just that.
Returning to the colourful sci-fi world for the first time this year, the fandom’s wishes have finally been answered with Gargantoonz, the next out-of-this-world chapter in the Reactoonz story.
Following the events of Gigantoonz (2022), Dr Toonz successfully forges a small one-eyed Gargantoon: the first of its kind. Dr Toonz plans to conduct a series of prize-winning experiments on the lucky Gargantoon with the intention of introducing him to Reactoonz society and generate unimaginable riches.
Gargantoonz is a 7×7 cascading grid slot that features a deep blue backdrop, mimicking the dark, sci-fi void we call space – counterbalanced with colourful Reactoonz character symbols. The player’s goal is to clear five or more alien-themed clusters to create a win.
In this game, Dr Toonz has plenty of tests and trials up his sleeve, evolving the series further by introducing intergalactic new ‘experiments’ including Gamma Rays, the Black Hole and Supernova. Charging the metre to unlock each experiment, they add news ways to help the player win on the grid from additional Wilds and increasing Multipliers. The aim of the game being to evolve the small Gargantoon to his apex form that we have seen in the prequels.
Gargantoonz is another awesome chapter in the Reactoonz saga. The experiment-driven features really intertwine with the slot’s overall story. This latest addition to the popular IP continues to show the growth and innovation in grid slots that Play’n GO pioneered with their releases Energoonz and GEMiX. It’s pure zero gravity immersion.

AI has transformed the art of buying a race horse, with records smashed at 2025 breeze up sale events
2025’s breeze up sales are completed, with last Friday’s Tattersalls Ireland sale at Fairyhouse concluding the events for the year.
Breeze up sales are a vital part of the horse racing industry. Data is essential for punters to make informed sports bets and is equally important when assessing the potential of a race horse.
At a breeze up event, race horse trainers, buyers and journalists get to watch two-year-old horses literally “breeze up and down” the track, showing off their pedigree, canter, gait, and hundreds of other data points that go into predicting a horse’s future performance on the racetrack.
Not only have the sales broken all the 2024 records in many metrics, they’ve also surpassed some all-time records since breeze up sales began in Great Britain in the 1970s – from top-selling lots to the total sales figures.
One notable facet of this year’s events was the contribution of Pythia Sports’ new proprietary technology, which combines artificial intelligence, machine learning, and historical breeze up sales data to improve the accuracy of performance predictions.

The breeze up continues to be an ever-popular sale for buyers seeking top two-year-old talent, and it’s a testament to the hard work of all the consignors and buyers who helped drive this year’s record-breaking results. “From our point of view, we’re really pleased to have been involved in 18 purchases, with the combined purchase prices exceeding £1.4 million. We’re very much looking forward to seeing them on the track and hope they prove very lucky for their owners.”
Davison continues: “It’s also fantastic for those who want an inside look into some of the hard work that happens behind-the-scenes in horse racing. We’re really pleased at how successful the sales have been, and we love how the sector has responded to our breeze up technology.
“Incorporating more than 100 essential factors, the innovative tech is a proprietary model which evaluates time, stride and biomechanics for every horse at the breeze ups. These individual factors then generate a comprehensive rating for each horse,” said Davison.

The International Association of Gaming Regulators (IAGR) has released the program for its upcoming annual conference, to be held in Toronto from 20-23 October.
With the theme ‘Resilient regulation: Exploring what works, why and what’s next’, the event brings together global regulators and thought leaders to examine how regulatory frameworks can evolve to meet today’s challenges.
The four-day program explores timely issues, including the rise of AI and behavioural analytics, the impact of converging technologies, cross-border collaboration and the continued push to strengthen responsible gambling policies.
IAGR President Ben Haden said the program offers a strong preview of the content and conversations delegates can expect in Toronto.
‘This year’s program showcases the breadth and complexity of the challenges facing gambling regulators worldwide, from protecting player wellbeing to tackling illegal markets and understanding new technologies,’ Haden said.
