Entain plc Completion of acquisition of Angstrom Sports

Entain plc, the global sports betting, gaming and interactive entertainment group, is pleased to announce the completion of its acquisition of Angstrom Sports (“Angstrom”), a specialist provider of next generation sports modelling, forecasting and data analytics.

As announced on 17 July 2023, the initial consideration of £81 million was payable on completion, with additional contingent payments totalling a maximum of £122 million, payable over three years.

Angstrom’s proprietary offering secures Entain as the only global operator with highly sophisticated in-house forecasting, analytics, risk and pricing capabilities for US Sports betting markets. Entain’s capabilities, coupled with our global scale and market leading platform will provide customers with an unrivalled US sports betting experience, differentiated by its breadth of betting opportunities and products.
