Thunderkick invites players to suit up for the Grand Melee in new slot

Independent slots studio Thunderkick is inviting players to don their armour and head into the Grand Melee in its action-packed new release.

The 6×4 slot introduces a vibrant design, an immersive environment to play in and several exciting mechanics to ramp up the thrills. Players are brought to centre stage, where a carnival tent unveils the action with plenty of engagement-boosting features to discover.

In the base game, a group of knights can be found upon the reels alongside classic familiar slot symbols. Landing three or more identical symbols on any spin will constitute a winning combination, paying out its relative prize.

Grand Melee’s Sticky Respin feature can trigger at any time during base gameplay, choosing a random symbol and showcasing it in an area above the reels. If five or more land in the game area after a spin, they’ll stick and lock into place, remaining until no new instances appear.

The Game Area Expansion symbol can land on any spin, transforming into the current sticky symbol and adding a new row to the bottom of the game area. This feature can extend to a maximum of seven rows, opening up plenty of possibilities to win.

A Symbol Upgrade mechanic can also appear concurrently to a Sticky Respin, transforming the chosen symbol into one of higher value. The Expansion feature could alternatively stretch the locked symbols across an entire reel, with both mechanics effectively boosting player’s chances of winning big.

Landing five or more Bonus symbols on any spin will trigger the Free Spins bonus game, introducing a Bonus meter at the bottom of the game area. The round will continue until no more Bonuses appear on the reels, with any Sticky symbols remaining in place for its duration.
