Glitnor Group, the hugely successful iGaming company that counts Lucky Casino, Gambola and Swintt among its prestigious list of brands, has announced that the relocation of its workforce to Malta’s iconic Villino Zammit was successfully completed earlier this month.
One of the most beautiful buildings in Sliema, Villino Zammit, was built in the late 19th century by philanthropist Alfonso Maria Galea and his brother in-law Agostino Borg Cardona, and became famous in the iGaming industry by being a home of previous iGaming companies for the past few years.
Far from being a mere cosmetic change, however, Glitnor Group has announced that its move to the attractive new setting is also be accompanied by a fresh new attitude towards working – with a number of progressive initiatives being introduced to help team members enjoy a better work-life balance.
The introduction of the new working policy is certainly in keeping with Glitnor Group’s progressive attitude towards operating in iGaming, with the company making a number of shrewd moves in recent times to ensure triple digit year-on-year growth since 2018, despite the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

The group’s B2B brand, Swintt, meanwhile, is one of the industry’s most sought-after software providers and has enjoyed exponential growth in the past 18 months. Now offering premium slots, live dealer and casino games to operators in Malta, Sweden and many other popular gaming jurisdictions, Swintt has been one of the success stories of 2021 and continues to expand its catalogue of titles each month.
With Glitnor Group starting the year in style with its ambitious relocation, progressive working policy and two brands being recognised at the SBC Awards, these are undoubtedly exciting times for the company – and the team is very much looking forward to keeping this momentum throughout 2022.
David Flynn, Chief Executive Officer at Glitnor Group said: “At Glitnor Group, we thrive by doing things differently – and by moving our team members to a truly unique setting in Malta’s Villino Zammit and providing them with a progressive new working policy, we’re ready to continue bucking the trend in 2022.
“We believe our new location and initiatives are a fitting ‘thank you’ to our team members for helping us achieve what has been a remarkable couple of years for the company. With a flexible approach to office hours and a striking creative space to work from, the group has confirmed its position as one of the top employers in the industry and we look forward to enjoying further growth in the New Year.”

Classic provider 1spin4win debuts Japanese slot line with Tiger’s Steps Hold and Win

The online casino game provider presents a unique iGaming product, setting in motion a Japanese slot lineup that is more than just several similar games united by one name, like their prominent Lucky Jane collection. The four slots will tell four immersive stories and release over four months, with one game launched monthly.
Kicking off the series is Tiger’s Steps Hold and Win, a tale of two ninjas and their wise sensei from the dojo of the Yamashiro village near Mount Fuji on a quest to prevent the shogun from claiming the ancient relics the tiger clan has protected for centuries.
Although the focus is on the story, which promises to only get deeper with each new game, 1spin4win stays true to straightforward mechanics, making sure that the rules are easy to understand from the get-go.
The Bonus action of choice on the 5×3 grid is Hold and Win, which is known for driving anticipation for wins and eliciting powerful emotions. A classic Hold and Win game starts when three or more coins appear on the reels in one spin. These and all other coins in the round remain on the reels throughout the game. Players are presented with three starting respins, which refresh every time a new coin drops. The goal is to fill the reels with as many coins as you can until respins run out.
The Bonus round in Tiger’s Steps Hold and Win offers two Jackpots: Mini at x100 and Mega at x1,000, upping the stakes. To claim the former, players need to find the special Mini Coin, and to grab the other, they need to secure 15 coins.
Olga Bogdanova, the Art Director at 1spin4win, said, “Creating Tiger’s Steps Hold and Win and other slots in the lineup meant that we needed to do thorough historical and cultural research. As a result, you will see more than just elements from Japanese popular culture in these games — you will be completely immersed in the unique locations and invested in the stories of characters from medieval Japan.”
Tiger Steps Hold and Win has already stirred up great interest during its exclusive pre-release on April 1 in such big casinos as Irwin, Gizbo, Jet, Izzi, and Fresh. You can play the demo on 1spin4win’s website.
