Compete to earn the title of the best fantasy football player on Yahoo Fantasy Sports.
For the first time ever, Yahoo Fantasy players had the opportunity to face off in person as part of an exclusive free Daily Fantasy contest with $200K in cash prizes and the title of the Best Yahoo Fantasy Football Player on the line.
The Yahoo Fantasy Football Championship brought together 60 top players from around the country (and their guests) at an exclusive weekend at MGM National Harbor Resort & Casino in Maryland on December 11-12, featuring:
- VIP appearances by former Washington Football Team tight end Vernon Davis and former Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Torrey Smith
- Accommodations at MGM National Harbor Resort & Casino
- Roundtrip airfare for two
- $500 in resort credits
Fantasy players qualified for the championship through various free and paid Yahoo Daily Fantasy contests throughout the first 10 weeks of the season.
The event builds on Yahoo’s efforts to create deep community in the fantasy space, leveraging its role as an official Digital Media Sports Partner of MGM Resorts to create a live event experience in an industry recently known for digitally connecting fans (i.e., virtual drafts, leagues).
