IGT Wheel of Fortune and Powerbucks Slots Deliver Duo of Million-Dollar-Plus Jackpots in December
International Game Technology PLC announced that its Wheel of Fortune and Powerbucks slots awarded two significant jackpots in December.
Lucky slots players won the following million-dollar-plus jackpots last month:
- On December 11, an online Powerbucks slots player won CA$2,056,175, the third-largest jackpot in the history of the product, playing Gong Xi Fa Cai in Ontario, Canada.
- On December 23, a Wheel of Fortune slots player won $1,257,054 playing Wheel of Fortune Gold Spin Triple Red Hot 7s at the recently opened Fontainebleau Las Vegas in Las Vegas, Nev.
IGT Powerbucks slots have paid 52 jackpots of $1 million or more since their Canadian debut in 2016. Wheel of Fortune slots have minted over 1,100 millionaires and awarded over $3.5 billion in jackpots since their launch in 1996.

IGT and Acres to Resolve All Pending Litigation
International Game Technology (IGT) and Acres 4.0, Acres Manufacturing Company, and John Acres (Acres) announced that effective April 12, 2024, they have reached an agreement to resolve all legal disputes between the two companies. Terms of the settlement have not been announced.
The resolution was reached in the US District Court of Nevada, directed to US patents that pertain to facilitating use of a financial transaction device in a cashless wagering system in a gaming system, and Nevada State Court directed to a breach of contract claims.
“IGT is pleased to reach a mutual agreement with Acres that resolves all disputes between us. This allows us to dedicate our collective resources where they are better served, driving continued innovation in the exciting and evolving cashless gaming space,” said Nick Khin, IGT COO Gaming.
“We are thrilled to put this matter behind us and work cooperatively with IGT to build exciting new gambling experiences that can increase both player enjoyment and casino profits,” John Acres, CEO of Acres, said.

International Game Technology PLC (IGT) announced that its Wheel of Fortune and Powerbucks slots awarded four life-changing jackpots totaling more than $5 million in March.
Lucky slots players won the following million-dollar-plus jackpots last month:
- On March 8, a Wheel of Fortune slots player won $1,254,996 playing Wheel of Fortune Triple Gold Gold Spin at Beau Rivage Resort & Casino in Biloxi, Miss.
- On March 12, a Wheel of Fortune slots player won $1,635,694 playing Wheel of Fortune Triple Gold Gold Spin Megatower at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas in Nevada.
- On March 22, a Powerbucks slots player won CA$1,485,994 playing Wheel of Fortune Lucky Coins On Stage at Chances Casino Kelowna in British Columbia, Canada.
- On March 30, a Wheel of Fortune slots player won $1,172,262 playing Wheel of Fortune Gold Spin Triple Red Hot 7s at the California Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nev.
IGT Powerbucks slots have paid 56 jackpots of $1 million or more since their Canadian debut in 2016. Wheel of Fortune slots have minted over 1100 millionaires and awarded over $3.5 billion in jackpots since their launch in 1996.

IGT Introduces Compelling Core Video and Class II Games for Tribal Casinos at Indian Gaming Tradeshow & Convention 2024
International Game Technology PLC (IGT) announced that it will showcase its performance-focused portfolio of games and solutions for tribal casinos at the Indian Gaming Tradeshow & Convention (IGA) 2024, April 9-11 in Anaheim, Calif. Under the theme “We’ve Got Game,” IGT’s booth #536 will feature a compelling array of gaming solutions designed to engage players and drive growth.
“Each year, IGA presents a productive environment for IGT to connect with our valued tribal gaming customers, honor their vital role in gaming innovation and evolution, and showcase our latest games and solutions designed to help them achieve growth. Our IGA 2024 portfolio will feature new core video games such as Rising Rockets and Split ‘N Win Link, a Class-II version of Mystery of the Lamp and the highly anticipated Tiger and Dragon multi-level progressive,” said Nick Khin, IGT Chief Operating Officer, Gaming.
In addition to showcasing products and services at IGA 2024, IGT will host the annual Spirit of Sovereignty Slot Tournament, which benefits tribal youth through tribal college scholarships and reservation-based youth programming. On April 10, immediately following the trade show floor opening, attendees are invited to watch gaming industry professionals and dignitaries compete in a Stinkin’ Rich-themed slot tournament powered by IGT’s TournXtreme tournament technology.
In support of IGT’s Sustainable Play global sustainability initiative, the Company will sponsor IGA’s first-ever Consumer Protection Zone, an interactive space showcasing the most effective tools and technologies for a more responsible and safe gambling operation.
