The DreamHack Winter attendees and Counter-Strike fans can already look forward to a spectacular live Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) competition with ESL Challenger coming to the Elmia Congress Center in Jönköping, Sweden, on November 24 – 26, 2023.

Just in a couple of days, the fierce competition kicks off. Eight CS2 teams from Asia (AS), Europe (EU), North America (NA), and South America (SA) are getting ready to showcase their skills and fight for their share of the $100,000 total prize pool, the ESL Challenger trophy, and a guaranteed spot in the upcoming season of ESL Pro League (EPL).

The following teams qualified for the tournament based on their position in the ESL World Ranking (ESL WR) or via regional qualifiers:

  • Eternal Fire (qualified via ESL WR)
  • GamerLegion (qualified via ESL WR)
  • Monte (qualified via ESL WR)
  • Virtus.pro (qualified via ESL WR)
  • Looking4Org (qualified via EU Qualifier)
  • MIBR (qualified via SA Qualifier)
  • Nouns Esports (qualified via NA Qualifier)

As a part of the ESL Pro Tour (EPT) ecosystem, ESL Challenger is a gateway for aspiring teams to put their skills to the test at a live event and ultimately advance to the next level of competition – the EPT Masters.

ESL Challenger Jönköping takes place at DreamHack Winter and is open to the public, with tickets for the immersive three-day gaming lifestyle festival. More information can be found on the DreamHack Winter website. The Counter-Strike fans who can’t attend the tournament in person can tune in via the live broadcast on Twitch and YouTube.
