Spotlight Sports Group (SSG), a world-leading technology, content and media company specialising in sports betting, has been shortlisted for Digital Transformation Project of the Year for the RTIH Innovation Awards due to its Racing Post retail services.

The award nomination is owed to the highly innovative digitally-focused solutions that Racing Post has spent the last few years developing for its United Kingdom and Ireland high street bookmaker partners to modernise their retail experiences.

Racing Post has provided content to betting shops since 1996. For 25 years, this was in the form of printed products with the Betting Shop Display, a bespoke product that was displayed on the walls, complemented by the Racing Post newspaper. However, as consumer needs and expectations have evolved, the Racing Post has kept pace by working with its partners to build a suite of interactive digital products.

Led by its flagship product, the Digital Betting Shop Display, Racing Post supplies a wide-ranging portfolio of digital solutions for the bookmaker retail space, all of which are equipped with every content need across United Kingdom and Irish racing, international racing, greyhounds, sports and virtual racing.

Discussing the award nomination, Spotlight Sports Group’s Chief Commercial Officer, Sam Houlding, said: “We are absolutely thrilled to receive this nomination from the RTIH Innovation Awards.
