36-Year-Old LOTTO24 Player from Hamburg, Germany, Hits 113 Million Euro Jackpot

A 36-year-old LOTTO24 player from Hamburg, Germany, today hit the next record jackpot this year, winning more than 117 million Euro.

* Fourth record win in 2023: 36-year-old LOTTO24 player from Hamburg, Germany, wins the 113 million Euro jackpot
* The total amount of winnings is 117,242,385.80 Euro

This is the fourth time this year that LOTTO24 players have won a record jackpot. Back in January, a 61-year-old LOTTO24 player from Bremerhaven hit the 107.5 million Euro jackpot and then in April a 63-year-old LOTTO24 player from Hamburg won 45 million Euro on LOTTO 6aus49. In addition, a 49-year-old LOTTO24 player from Bavaria hit the freiheit+ jackpot in May, winning 5,000 Euro a month for the next 15 years and a one-off payment of 250,000 Euro.

The 36-year-old LOTTO24 customer has tipped the numbers 3, 17, 19, 32, 38 and the Euro numbers 6 and 7 for today’s draw. The total winnings amount to 117,242,385.80 Euro.

“We are very happy for our customer and proud that we were able to fulfill the big dream of winning the lottery for several of our customers with record jackpots within such a short period of time,” the Chief Financial Officer for LOTTO24 AG, Jonas Mattsson, said.

The Eurojackpot is a lottery in which a total of 18 European countries participate. Players first pick ‘5 out of 50’ numbers and then ‘2 out of 12’ Euro numbers. Since a product change in March of this year, the jackpot can rise to as much as 120 million Euros, previously the limit was 90 million Euro. The draw takes place every Tuesday and Friday evening in Helsinki, Finland. Participation is possible at LOTTO24 or Tipp24, among others.

International Game Technology PLC announced that its subsidiary, IGT Global Solutions Corporation, has signed a five-year contract with the Atlantic Lottery Corporation (Atlantic Lottery), to implement high-performing features and exciting new games for players in Atlantic Canada. As part of the agreement, IGT will deploy its advanced cloud-based remote game server (RGS) and at least 16 digital instant games each year. The contract will run through April 2029 and includes five, one-year extension options.

“As the largest digital instant market in Canada, Atlantic Lottery is pleased to partner with IGT and offer our players dynamic digital instant games from IGT’s comprehensive content portfolio. Additionally, the scalability of IGT’s cloud-based RGS will enable us to modify our digital instants library in real time, provide our players with best-in-class experiences and continually enhance our iGaming offer,” Robert LaLonde, iGaming Director at Atlantic Lottery Corporation, said.

Allwyn Appoints Adrian Joseph OBE as Non-Executive Director

UK National Lottery operator Allwyn has announced the appointment of Adrian Joseph OBE as Independent Non-Executive Director, effective 1 June 2024.

Adrian is an innovative digital, technology, data and AI-focused senior executive and FTSE Non-Executive Director who has worked for a number of leading technology organisations – most recently as Chief Data and AI Officer at BT, where he led a 1600-strong team.

Adrian is currently a Non-Executive Director at Direct Line Group, on the Technology Advisory Board of NatWest Group and an Advisory Board Member at Business in the Community. Adrian was awarded an OBE in the 2019 New Year’s Honours List for services to equality and diversity in business, and was also voted the most influential minority ethnic technology leader in the UK by the Financial Times in 2018.

Prior to BT, Adrian spent over a decade working in a variety of senior data, analytics and AI roles for Google and EY. He was also previously a Non-Executive Director to the Home Office and Cabinet Office People Board, as well as an Expert Member of the UK AI Council.

At the $10 price point, HIT $500,000 gives players 30 chances to win on every ticket, including five top prizes worth $500,000. The game is loaded with more than $76.7 million in total cash prizes, including more than 1.6 million prizes ranging from $20 to $100.

HIT $200,000 offers 25 chances to win a cash prize, including one of six $200,000 top prizes, on every ticket in the $5 game. The game has over $47.3 million in total cash prizes up for grabs and more than 1.8 million prizes between $10 and $200.

Players can cash in big when they play HIT $5,000 for just one $1. Featuring more than $7.7 million in total cash prizes in the game, HIT $5000 offers five chances to win a cash prize on every ticket, including one of 15 top prizes worth $5000.

For those that don’t win an instant cash prize, the excitement and the chance to win continues. Texas Lottery players can enter their non-winning HIT scratch tickets into the Sedona Day of Luck Promotion through their Luck Zone account for a chance to win $100 plus an entry into a drawing for a chance to win a Trip Prize to Sedona.

Those selected for a Trip Prize will enjoy a luxurious trip to Sedona from Oct. 5-9, 2025.
