Each GGPoker player will be assigned to one of four continents – Americas, Europe, Mediterranean and Asia Pacific – and WSOP Online will showcase the fierce rivalry and camaraderie among poker enthusiasts, wherever they are located.

GGPoker will host $2M in Continental Freerolls. Each of the 33 freerolls (one for every WSOP Online bracelet event) will boast up to $100K in WSOP Paradise packages and C$ in prizes. Entry to each invitational freeroll will be open to those players that both participated in the corresponding WSOP Online bracelet event and come from the same continent as the eventual bracelet winner; for example, if an Asia-Pacific player wins WSOP Online bracelet event #1, each Asia-Pacific participant in the bracelet tournament will be automatically registered in the associated freeroll running one week later. Additionally, invites may be extended to select players from the same continent.

Further embracing the spirit of competition, players from every corner of the globe will also vie against one another on the Continental Leaderboards, with the four Continental Champions that top the leaderboards claiming a $35K WSOP Paradise package.

Following a hugely successful first event in Cincinnati, Ohio in September 2023, the Moneymaker Tour is returning to the Hard Rock Casino Cincinnati on September 17 – 30, 2024 with a packed schedule that will guarantee more than $1 million across 15 trophy events.

In September 2023’s inaugural stop at Hard Rock Cincinnati, the $1,500 Main Event was contested by 788 players and won by Joseph Bakun for $208,034. He was joined at the final table by Chris Moneymaker himself and WSOP Champion Joseph McKeehen and as well as the top cash prize, he also took home a crystal Moneymaker Tour trophy and a guitar trophy.

The Moneymaker Tour was created in 2023 by 2003 WSOP Champion and ACR Team Pro, Chris Moneymaker and Moneymaker Tour Executive Manager, Tony Burns. The Tour was conceived as a way for Moneymaker to give poker players opportunities to have their own ordinary to extraordinary moments as he did.

Despite its relative newcomer status, the Moneymaker Tour has made a name for itself, recently being voted the third most popular live poker tournament series behind only the World Series of Poker and the World Poker Tour, in a State of Poker survey. Since its inception, there have been eight events throughout Florida, Cincinnati and Houston.

The Tour has also recently announced new venues including a first visit to the birthplace of the Moneymaker boom with an event in Las Vegas from June 28 – July 6 at MGM Grand and its first international Main Event at Casino Aruba in October.

“Hard Rock Casino Cincinnati will team up with the Moneymaker Tour for a return in 2024” said Christopher Herbert, Hard Rock Cincinnati Manger of Poker & Sportsbook. “Hard Rock Cincinnati is grateful to be a part of the fastest growing poker tour in 2023. Chris Moneymaker, Tony Burns and their staff delivered an incredible experience for our guests during the 2023 Moneymaker Tour stop. There’s no better place to be in September 2024 than Cincinnati Ohio!”

“After an amazing series last September, we are excited to return to Hard Rock Casino Cincinnati”, said Tony Burns, Executive Manager of the Moneymaker Tour. “Continuing to partner with one of the most recognisable brands in the world amplifies our reach, resonates with our audience, and rocks our business to a whole other level.”

EvenBet Gaming sharpens anti-fraud capabilities to combat growing rise of poker bots

Global developer commits to providing a transparent player experience amid growing trend

EvenBet Gaming, a leading developer of online gaming software and solutions, has reinforced its anti-fraud detection technology to combat the rise in AI-powered bots and align with stringent anti-money laundering (AML) policies.

The increase in machine-learning technology sophistication has resulted in AI bots becoming harder to identify within the global gaming industry, posing huge financial and reputational risks to operators and affecting the transparency of the player experience.

To combat this escalated risk, EvenBet has introduced rigorous measures that can pinpoint potential bots with up to 99% precision, including Fingerprint JS Pro technology, multiple anti-fraud verification processes, and behavioural analysis procedures.

This includes cutting-edge in-game player inspection during poker rounds, monitoring several factors such as hand strength, potential knowledge of opponents’ cards, session duration, location, and jackpot hunting or tournament endgame dragging. Each factor is then compared to normal player behaviour to calculate the likelihood of AI-powered bots in poker rooms.

EvenBet has also supplemented its registration process with further Know Your Customer (KYC) checks, implemented to tackle the 112% and 184% growth in identity theft and synthetic identities respectively. The leading developer utilises temporary email identification techniques and assesses potential email forwarding and re-login attempts to ascertain the risk of a new sign-up.

The improvement of existing technology and the addition of new measures analyses risk from the moment of registration and monitors behavioural factors throughout the player journey, demonstrating EvenBet’s dedication to eliminating AI bots, complying with rigid AML guidelines, and providing the optimal gaming experience.

Dmitry Starostenkov, CEO at EvenBet Gaming, said: “With the rapid development of artificial intelligence in the 21st century, it has never been more important to stay ahead of the curve with regards to anti-fraud processes.

“EvenBet continues to develop and implement the latest anti-fraud technology to ensure our platform remains a trusted industry leader providing an entirely transparent user experience.”
