Betcris shortlisted in four 2022 SBC Awards Latinoamérica Awards categories

The SBC Summit Latinoamérica will take place again this year following its successful 2021 inaugural edition. Closing out the event will be the SBC Awards Latinoamérica, recognizing the efforts of leading industry players in driving LatAm gaming. Betcris is known as one of the pioneers of sports betting in the region and has been shortlisted in four categories in this year’s awards ceremony.

Winners in all 26 categories of the awards program will be selected by independent judging panels and will receive a trophy recognizing their outstanding performance and innovations in front of 400 industry guests. Mexican sports journalist Inés Sainz will host the lavish ceremony that celebrates the best in the Latin American sports betting and iGaming industry.

Betcris has been selected as a finalist in the Sports Betting Operator of the Year, Employer of the Year and Sponsorship of the Year categories. In addition, CEO JD Duarte is on the list for Leader of the Year.

The expanding gaming company has regularly been singled out for its efforts to advance the industry throughout LatAm, as well as other parts of the world. It is a leading sponsor of sports teams in the countries it serves and has been instrumental in developing policies to help the gaming ecosystem evolve.

Betcris was also shortlisted in several categories for last year’s inaugural SBC Awards Latinoamérica event. It won the categories of Employer of the Year and Leader of the Year. Betcris was also recognized with the silver award in the list of finalists for Sponsorship of the Year and Bookmaker of the Year.

The company was also selected last year by the Gaming Intelligence Awards as the Best Latin American Sports Betting Operator. Adding to its accolades, it received the award of Sponsor of the Year at the first Brazilian iGaming Awards.

The SBC Summit Latinoamérica will bring together executives and specialists in sports betting products, games of chance, casinos, and lottery companies from all over the region. Its agenda includes sessions on emerging market opportunities, industry leadership, regulation, payment technology, marketing strategies and more.

The event will be held from November 1 to 3 at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, FL. It will feature the participation of 100 senior executives and specialists with extensive experience in the markets of Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Mexico, Peru, Puerto Rico, Uruguay and the Caribbean. The SBC Awards Latinoamérica ceremony will be held in the Seminole Ballroom del Hard Rock Hotel Tower on November 3.
