Pickswise launches sports betting supercomputer ahead of the new NFL season

Pickswise, part of Spotlight Sports Group, announced that they have launched a brand new sports betting predictive supercomputer just in time for the start of the new NFL season. The exciting new technology focuses on key US betting markets such as points spreads, totals and the Moneyline.

The new supercomputer is capable of creating pre-game probabilities using advanced machine learning techniques as inputs to a Monte Carlo approach. This means that the new technology can simulate a sporting event over 10,000 times, catering for the deep range of outcomes and probabilities within any given event. In terms of the process, a prediction is made for the performance of each individual player based on hundreds of algorithmic variabilities which are then used to run overall event simulations. The probabilities themselves are dynamic in nature and are updated as new information such as team news, weather conditions, and movement within betting markets becomes available.

An exclusive commercial deal has already been signed with DraftKings sportsbook for the 2020 NFL season to help promote their odds & betting lines.

Discussing the launch of the new product, Spotlight Sports Group Managing Director, Harry von Behr highlighted the advanced technology of the product and how it can help clients engage a new audience while also driving retention of pre-existing customers.
