Today, G2, one of the world’s leading entertainment and esports brands, and PUBG MOBILE Esports, are excited to announce their partnership to develop the mobile esports scene in Western Europe. Combining G2’s award-winning industry expertise with PUBG MOBILE Esports’ global competitive ecosystem, the partnership will drive growth across the region through the 2026 PUBG MOBILE Club Open (PMCO) Western Europe Wildcard, alongside the launch of a dedicated ambassador programme.

As part of the partnership, 62, G2’s award-winning media house specialising in white label content production, creator campaigns, media buying and event management, will support tournament operations and community activations. Leveraging its expertise in creator-led campaigns and esports production, 62 will help deliver experiences that connect players and fans with the PUBG MOBILE competitive scene. The first major activation under the partnership will be the 2026 PUBG MOBILE Global Open (PMGO) Western Europe Finals on 11–13 September, with registration open from today.

G2 and PUBG MOBILE Esports will also launch an ambassador program, with German content creator JanickaGaming featuring as the ambassador for Western Europe. Janička has built a loyal following through her gaming content, sharing informative and entertaining videos documenting her PUBG MOBILE Esports journey. Supporting this initiative, Janička will stream PUBG MOBILE weekly alongside her usual social content, covering PUBG MOBILE Esports topics and tournaments as they unfold, widening visibility in the region to broader gaming audiences.

This initiative brings together two organisations with a shared belief that esports is driven by community. While PUBG MOBILE Esports has built one of the biggest mobile esports ecosystems in the world, G2 has spent more than a decade developing its own formula for growing passionate fans through competitive success, creator-led storytelling, and entertainment-first content.

“PUBG MOBILE has built something really special over the years. It’s one of the biggest games in the world and one of the most impressive esports ecosystems,” said Alban Dechelotte, CEO of G2. “When you look at the scale mobile esports has reached in Asia, it’s hard not to get excited about the opportunity in Western Europe. It still feels like we’re only scratching the surface of what’s possible here. There’s a huge audience that loves competitive gaming, and we see a real opportunity to help more players and fans discover everything PUBG MOBILE Esports has to offer.”

“Western Europe represents one of the most promising growth frontiers for PUBG MOBILE esports, and G2 stands as a great strategic partner to drive this expansion,” stated Head of Western Europe Publishing at PUBG MOBILE, Shaowei Chen. “With a decade-long track record of cultivating thriving fan communities through tournament triumphs and creative narrative campaigns, G2’s expertise aligns closely with our regional development goals.”

“This collaboration extends beyond hosting competitive tournaments—its core mission is to establish a long-standing, dedicated hub for PUBG MOBILE esports audiences across Western Europe. By integrating our worldwide competitive infrastructure with G2’s entertainment-centric operating philosophy, we will craft immersive and new experiences for PUBG MOBILE players.”

As one of the most recognisable brands in esports with more than 30 million fans worldwide, G2 brings more than a decade of experience building competitive communities and creating award-winning gaming content. PUBG MOBILE has been the most-watched battle royale esports title for five consecutive years, recently earning the Guinness World Record for the largest mobile team-based esports event in history with 1,224,169 players registered for the 2026 PUBG MOBILE Global Open (PMGO) Season 1.
