Abios powers upcoming gaming media platform Apollo with in-play statistics for League of Legends
Abios provides a comprehensive set of League of Legends in-play and pre-match data to support the upcoming gaming ecosystem Apollo
As a leading esports data and odds provider and part of Kambi Group plc, Abios continues to fuel the esports ecosystem by providing the underlying data infrastructure needed for building esports projects at scale. Most recently, it signed Apollo, a US-based gaming media platform that will power its League of Legends vertical with pre-match and in-play data.
It allows the gaming media platform to use in-depth statistics, historical data, and in-play data from top to provide its users with timely esports coverage, stats, and a fantasy vertical.
The League of Legends World Championships amassed a peak viewership of 6.9 million in 2024, the highest recorded in esports history. With the newly announced pan-American league LTA and the success of American teams such as FlyQuest at Worlds, the American League of Legends scene is poised for an upswing in 2025, making it an interesting time to lean into the region.

Red Bull announces brand-new Trackmania tournament ‘Red Bull Faster’, set to descend on Red Bull Racing’s Milton Keynes HQ
Start your engines as Red Bull teams up with top Trackmania creator Øyvind “Wirtual” to bring the ultimate high-speed tournament to Red Bull Racing’s Milton Keynes HQ.
An adrenaline-fueled showdown, Red Bull Faster is set to take place on 1 March at MK-7, with online qualifiers open from 24 January, 7pm CET (6pm GMT / 10am PST) until 7 February. Players globally can head to the in-game club ‘Red Bull Faster’ to access the tournament’s custom maps.
Hopeful competitors can put the pedal to the metal, racing across 3 challenging maps in Time Attack mode to clinch the best cumulative time on the global leaderboard. The Top 100 fastest players will advance to the stage 2 online qualifiers, with the Top 8 securing a coveted spot on the starting line at the offline Grand Finals in Milton Keynes.
Hosted by an iconic Trackmania creator, “Wirtual” will be livestreaming all the daring jumps, hairpin turns, and dizzying loops of the high-octane competition across his YouTube and Twitch channels. With the clock ticking, it’s time for seasoned pros and rising racers to grind the ladder, burn rubber on the virtual speedway, and drift, dive, and drive to pole position before qualifiers close on 7 February.
As Red Bull Faster gears up to be the ultimate test of speed and skill, racing fans can also join the action with limited in-person spectator tickets now available. Tickets include food for attendees and photo opportunities with Red Bull’s F1™ race cars.

136 Nations Registered for IESF 2025 World Esports Championships
International Esports Federation (IESF) is thrilled to announce a major milestone as 136 nations have officially registered for the National Qualifiers of the 2025 esports season. This record-breaking level of participation underscores the remarkable growth and global appeal of esports, uniting athletes and fans from every corner of the world under one shared passion.
The National Qualifiers, which commenced on January 15, 2025, mark the start of an exciting journey for millions of athletes. Competing across a diverse range of PC, mobile, and console titles, these athletes are fighting for the opportunity to represent their nations on the largest stage of esports.
Highlighting the significance of this achievement, IESF General Secretary Boban Totovski stated:
